Connecting during the Coronavirus

What we are offering in a time of Social Distancing

Journeying with you through the unknown…

Hello Friends,
The Vibrant Faith team considers it a privilege to be one of your trusted ministry partners. It’s now clear that your job and lives have changed dramatically in the last week; from gathering people physically, to gathering people in multiple digitals formats AND resourcing families to form faith at home.
First of all, please take a deep breath and know that you are the (clean) hand and feet of Jesus, but we cannot be a Savior.

We also know that the care and community of the Christian church is absolutely vital to your people– especially during times of crisis –We want to come alongside you with invaluable resources to help you form and shape the faith of God’s people at this time. Don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know what else you need. God has promised to be with you and guide you!

With Care,
your Vibrant Faith Team, Trainers, and Coaches

The Generative Church – Dr. Cory Seibel

May 28 @ 12 noon (EST)

This presentation will introduce key ideas from the recently published book, The Generative Church. This book makes a distinctive contribution to our understanding of children’s, youth, and young adult ministries by appropriating Erik Erikson’s concept of generativity (“the interest in establishing and guiding the next generation”) as a framework for exploring what it means for churches to invest intentionally in the faith development of the members of emerging generations.

Dr. Cory Seibel is a pastor at Central Baptist Church and adjunct professor at Taylor Seminary, both in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As a researcher, writer, and presenter, he strives to help churches flourish as intergenerational communities of faith.

Reciprocal Relationships – Dr. Sharon Ketcham

June 11 @ 12 noon (EST)

Relationships are a critical means of grace.  Yet when we are driven by fear and understand our role to merely as securing faith in rising generations, relationships can get lost. Explore the challenges that relationships pose, and how such obstacles are opportunities for the Spirit’s transformation.

Sharon Galgay Ketcham is professor of theology and Christian ministries at Gordon College in Massachusetts. She is the author of Reciprocal Church: Becoming a community where faith flourishes beyond high school in which she proposes a new vision for a person’s relationship with the church and the accompanying values and practices that allow faith to flourish for persons and communities.

Connecting Teens to the Whole Church
– Michael Droege

June 25 @ 12 noon (EST)

Study after study shows that a key to sustainable ministry with emerging adults has to include their active role in the life of the congregation. Michael Droege walks us through what it takes to invite and integrate our teenagers into healthy and contributing relationships in whole church life.”

Michael Droege has been in youth and family ministry for 30 years. Along with his coaching work with Vibrant Faith, Michael currently serves as Associate Pastor of Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung, NJ, as an adjunct professor at Drew Theological School (Drew University), and is a frequent workshop and conference speaker with two decades of experience training and coaching leaders.

Discount on the Visual Faith Database

After several churches have asked how they can use Visual Faith images online, we created a plan for leaders, churches, and ministry groups to use the Visual Faith Project for their online gatherings. In order to make the database images more accessible to everyone, we are selling database subscriptions for only $100 (reduced from $150). We are also providing a FREE 5-page overview of how these cards can be used in various online ministry settings. This document includes links to 32 free Visual Faith lessons/experiences to use.

If you have questions or would like to connect us about these programs and services, email us at hello@vibrantfaith.org.
We look forward to talking to you about how we can help cultivate Vibrant Faith together in this unusual time.
