Reachable Reconcilation Cohorts

Join us to find out that Reconciliation IS Reachable
Does your congregation and community need help navigating topics of race and reconciliation?
Do you realize you have breaches in your relationships?

Join a cohort and learn how to achieve Reachable Reconciliation!

Reaching for a Reaction is a quick, easy, and common response AND it is further dividing us.
Reachable Reconciliation helps individuals willing to engage in the hard work to build relationships, reflect, and reach to repair and achieve reconciliation.
Reconciliation is possible. Reconciliation is within our reach.

Participants sign up for a 5-month series.

Our 2020 series begins in August and ends in December.

The Cohort includes:

– 5 live online training sessions (90 minute) each month with your facilitator Fred Oduyoye
– Additional materials, assignments, and resources sent to your cohort between sessions
– A private online community to share in discussion, ideas, and connection

The Process . . .

The Five Month Overview

In the five-months, your cohort will explore the key characteristics of moving through a healthy reconciliation cycle. You will be able to evaluate the the effects of race, conflict, and reaction within your ministries, explore and apply key principles for building a reconciling culture, and begin making adjustments to move toward achieving reachable reconciliation – within your individual life, your own relationships, and in ministry. Each month, we’ll focus on a different approach to Reachable Reconciliation:

Month 1: Relationship – We will start with first things first – understanding, cultivating, and building the relationship

Month 2: Reactions – Exploring our own reactions and how these play into conflict

Month 3: Reflection – Identifying and understanding the core problem(s) to reconcile

Month 4: Repairs – Making amends, apologizing, and understanding our own roles in the problem

Month 5: Reaching – Reaching within and beyond our circles to reach true reconciliation

What can you and your team gain from joining this cohort?

  • Your community will deepen
  • Competence will grow
  • Conflicts will be identified
  • Reconciliation will become possible

What can I expect from this Cohort?

  • Empowerment through Coaching
  • Engagement through Conversation
  • Experience through Community
  • Examination through Challenge
